New ACHD policies

Did you know that ACHD recently revised their Policy Manual?  While meeting with staff about two new projects, I realized that section 7200 Technical Requirements was revised.  At this time, it's difficult to determine what exactly was revised.  It does appear that approach/access related requirements were drastically modified, including the number of approaches allowed and the spacing.  Another change is the drainage requirements.  These changes result from a drainage group created by ACHD (I was a volunteer, along with a few other knowledgeable private engineers) last year.  The drainage changes, in my opinion, should not negatively impact your future projects.
